“Mini Parvula” (Parvula) grows like a currant variety, with strong horizontal branches and fine leaves. I grew it in a “difficult” location, so the overall size of the plant was likely not nearly as large as it would have been in favorable conditions. Mine grew in the ground, in mostly sand with no amendments, and resisted all of my “native” soil nasties such as nematodes and bacterial wilt.
The fruits are darling. I could look at them all day. The flavor is strong and fairly sweet, with tart juice.
I received my original seeds from a fellow avid tomato grower in Denmark. The packet was labeled “Mini Parvula,” but I have only found this variety on the internet under the name “Parvula.”
