“Rebecca Sebastian’s Bull Bag” is a Kentucky heirloom, bequeathed to Rebecca Sebastian of Paris, Kentucky, by her father. The large plants produce quite large red hearts. My first fruit set consisted of two fruits that grew larger and larger until I was forced to pick them prior to breaker when an armyworm attack ruined the larger fruit of the two. Both fruits were well over 1 pound, which is unusually large in my growing conditions. Since my season is so short before heat, these two fruits were all I had; however, this variety is said to produce well, and likely does, in better climates. The flavor and texture were excellent, sweet more than tart, and very meaty. I have very little stock, but I want to share this excellent variety while the seeds are freshest. NOTE: Additional stock in 2017 if I grow it again.
