1884 – Indet., regular leaf plants produce huge pink beefsteaks with somewhat
ribbed shoulders. It has an outstanding rich flavor. Normally it is 12-18 oz, but some fruits can getup to over 2 lbs. This is a true heirloom tomato. It was found growing in a pile of flood debris after the great flood of 1884. The plant was discovered by a Mr. Williamson near Friendly, West Virginia. I found it to have the perfect flavor and the perfect size for those BLT’s where you want one slice to cover the entire sandwich.
