Dora – Early midseason, medium-sized plants with regular foliage give a good crop of large, pink beefsteaks. Created by Missouri breeder Keith Mueller with a cross of Brandywine and Cherokee Purple, Dora has also been used in many other crosses. Large 12 oz (on average) fruits that are juicy and meaty have a taste that has been described as “sweet with a slightly smoky aftertaste”. Other selections from the Brandywine/Cherokee Purple cross include Liz Birt, Gary’O Sena, and Bear Creek.
