“Dwarf Firebird Sweet” field notes: 4-7 oz. Pink with yellow/gold stripes, beautiful. Low production. Flavor excellent, very sweet. Flavor is probably better than “Dwarf Beauty King” but fruit is not as large and plant is not as productive.

Comments from Dwarf Tomato Project:

Dwarf Firebird Sweet originated from a cross between Dwarf Wild Fred (an F4 selection) and Beauty King (from Wild Boar Farm) by Vince Lavallo in 2011, which he named Beauty. Dwarf Firebird Sweet was selected and named in 2013 by Craig. Dwarf Firebird Sweet is a regular leaf dwarf producing lots of medium sized oblate smooth pink fruit with vertical gold striping – truly beautiful – and with a rich, balanced flavor. Those involved with its development are Vince Lavalle, Craig, Lurley Hernandez, Lindsey Ratterree, Dan Follett, Carolyn Keiper, and Nancy Ruhl.  Release quantity was grown by Bill Minkey.
