“Linda” (ТОМАТ КОМНАТНЫЙ ЛИНДА; Tomat Komnatnyy Linda) is a very short dwarf variety that bears large red saladettes in profusion. The plant itself topped at less than 18” in a 1 gallon pot. It may reach higher in a larger pot.
During the time I grew Linda, I thought the name was “Balcony Red.” When I translated the Cyrillic from my seed packet, I found that the variety’s name is actually “Linda,” or something to the effect of “Balcony Tomato Linda.”
My tasting notes report that I found the fruits to be meaty, with a great balanced sugar to acid flavor. The fruits are so perfect that I feared this was a hybrid; however, I could not find this designation on the packet nor in any site I found listing it.
