“Queen Anne” has beautiful stripes and perfect form, thick walled flesh with juicy gel, and a clean tomatoey flavor. This is a segregation of a cross of Brandy Stripe x Vintage Wine by Tom Wagner. I do not know the generation, but it does follow the pink with yellow stripes slicer original intent. I last grew this in 2015, and noted at the time that Queen Anne fruits would probably be bigger than the 3-5 ounce ones I had if the plant were grown in better conditions (not to mention a larger pot!). This growing season I boosted the pot size from 3 gal to a pickle bucket, placed it in the sun rather than nearly full shade, and conscientiously fertilized it. In return, I had a nice boodle of fat beefsteaks grown in clutches. The fruits set deeply into the plant, and the fruitworms discovered them before I did. Thus, my harvested seed stock does not reflect the amount of seeds I should have with that productivity.
