“Yellow Radiance” was developed by Brad Gates and released by Wild Boar Farms in 2015. It produces large, yellow-striped beesteak fruits. According to my tasting notes, the fruits are “yummy, balanced, and twangy.” This is one yellow tomato that is not insipid in any way. Yellow Radiance is similar to Brad Gates’ “Pork Chop” (Porkchop) but I believe that the fruits of Pork Chop are supposed to be more rounded (taller) than this variety. I did, however, grow Pork Chop this season as well, and found it to be flatter and meatier than Yellow Radiance.
