It is a micro-dwarf tomato that was selected from a cross I made of Pinocchio Orange x Clackamas Blueberry. I have pursued two segregants from that cross; this is the red fruited one. It is a true micro so far as I can see. In a pickle bucket the plants are staying around 10-12&#8243; tall. Leaves are rugose and shaped like little demitasse spoons. The habit is more open than many micros, which is very good for avoiding leaf mold and heavy infestations of fruitworms. The fruit has very heavy antho that looks blue-violet on the plant outdoors, and nearly black under indoor lights. Fruit size is 0.3 to 0.5 oz. It is at least 3 weeks earlier than Bunny Blues, the orange sister segregant. The flavor? That is the best part. I am so pleased that this one took the flavor from Pinocchio Orange. At fully ripe with controlled watering after breaker, the fruits are quite sweet, tangy, and succulent. I wish that all of my micro crosses tasted this good!
