Tatiana states that these are very rare and endangered, so I can do my part here by listing these seeds! Although I cannot find this stated anywhere, I believe it is C. frutescens.<br \/>\nMahem is a hot and tasty pepper, useful for pepper vinegar (cram fruits into a bottle, fill with vinegar, put on the table for condiment use&#8230;my Granny was never without one). Also they will be fine for making fermented pepper sauce.<br \/>\nThere is an issue I have with the size though. Tatiana states that they are 2.5-3&#8243; in length. But seeing that my middle finger is 3&#8243; long, and my ring finger is 2.5&#8243; long, the vendor\u2019s photo does not show peppers the length of fingers. So I think that the size of the fruits that I grew, 1\/2 to 1.5&#8243;, is an accurate and correct size for this variety.<br \/>\nMahem is beautiful ornamental as well, for those of you who grow pepper plants among your front yard flowers, as I used to do in the city (had no space for a separate garden!). They will also do great in a pot. My plants grew to about 2 feet high in rather challenged conditions, and set fruit all at once.
