I chased this around the internet for quite some time before finding that Aji Limo, from Peru, mistakenly called Aji Limon, is a chinense variety. The fruits are lemon yellow and shaped a bit like a top, wider at the upper third of the fruit. Aji Limon, also called Lemon Drop and Aji Lemon Drop (PI 315024), is a more slender, pointed at both ends, yellow fruited baccatum. It is very hot, and reportedly known in Peru as &#8216;Kellu Uchu&#8217;. Vendors have managed to mix these two varieties up pretty well, in both the name(s) and the chinense vs. baccatum debate.
