The name \u201cSolokha\u201d has a few interesting translations, such as \u201cunkempt woman,\u201d \u201cwitch,\u201d \u201cloose woman,\u201d and \u201cmermaid.\u201d This plant produces lovely petite pink hearts, so I chose the translation \u201cMermaid\u201d to represent it at BHS. I was careful, however, to also include the transliterated name in the listing.<br \/>\nBut back to the fruits. These are sweet tomatoes, reminding me a bit of Dwarf Pink Passion, except that the fruits are more delicate\/smooth. It had a difficult season here in 2018, but did much better in the very early spring of 2019 after overwintering in a dimly lighted tent.
