“Ambrosia Ice” is a selection I made and stabilized from Blue Ambrosia, a creation of J&L Gardens. Ambrosia Ice is a white cherry (yellow flesh with clear epidermis) that is 0.5 to 0.8 oz and very prolific, even in heat and humidity. It is one of the sweetest tomatoes I have eaten, very juicy and soft but not mealy at full ripeness. Even when overwatered by heavy rains, Ambrosia Ice was still sweet and tasty, not insipid. There was a very little anthocyanin dusting on the fruit tops early in the season before the heat set in. I really like this one…Wow! variety.
