“Ms. Junie” is another great Hatch NuMex chile developed by the folks at Solar Dry Chile farm in Hatch, New Mexico. I couldn’t resist the name on this pepper, and I am glad I didn’t, because it has lived up to its reputation as a very prolific producer of hot, large green chiles with fairly thick flesh. The size ranges from 6 to 10” long. My first fruits were 9”, and the later fruits were 6-7”.
