“Smiley Worms” has been described as “one of those rude tomatoes,” meaning that the shape is rather –err—interesting. It is a long red paste with rounded end, and the green fruits hang from the plant like cute little worms. My seeds came from a forum member who obtained her seeds from a trade “across the pond.” So I do not have a history of this variety, and I am not certain that this is not a translated name. Smiley Worms has a good flavor for fresh eating or cooking, although it was a bit dry/high pectin for my salad/sandwich preferences. Productivity was very good, and it survived the nematodes etc. in my ground.
