“Ajvarski” joins my limited list of Wow! Peppers for its sweetness and depth of flavor. I can see why this variety is used to make a traditional spread/relish called Ajvar, which is just delicious. The fruits have no heat and are tapered long triangles, 6 to 7” long. For some reason, I could only get 85% germination on this year’s seeds…and I didn’t have enough seeds from the previous year’s trial crop, which germinated at 100%, to offer it then. I will therefore discount the price for this 2025 season’s seeds.
