“Aztek” is a gorgeous micro-dwarf variety, a pale milky jade when unripe and a bright canary yellow when ripe. The fruits are very large for a cherry, and look like small peaches with a pointed end. Aztek was very early and a robust fruit setter; the plant stayed small, under 10″ tall, but at least 8″ wide. It was beat in earliness only by Yellow Canary.
The history I was able to locate states that this variety is from Czechoslovakia.
NOTE: New stock is limited until my winter crop is harvested. Until then, all micro-dwarf varieties will be limited to one packet per variety per order. This way everyone has a better chance to try them before current stock is sold out. Thank you!
