Dusky Maiden is a lady with both “eye-candy” beauty and “delicious” personality! This is one of the earliest medium-sized tomatoes I have ever grown and also one of the most productive. The pink/green-striped, dark fruit will be popular with growers who love the rich flavor of the “purple” tomatoes and those who want a mild “tang” finish to their tomato. Dusky Maiden is a selection from a 2013 cross of Black Sea Man x Pink Berkely Tie-Dye, made by TimothyT in NC. The “Dusky Maiden” name was chosen by Geoff in Melbourne. Both Timothy and Geoff, along with feedback from expert growing partners worldwide, progressed the original selection to it’s current, stable, F9 filial generation. Highly recommended, especially for growers with short growing seasons and discriminating palates!
