“Dwarf Crimson Sockeye” is a product of the Tidy Dwarf Family (Rosella Purple F4 X Pink Berkeley Tie Dye). Despite the name, it is actually a purple tomato (red flesh, retained chlorophyll, clear epidermis). My fruits were 5 ounce oblate beefsteaks, but when Ted grew these he reported 9-12 ounce fruits…so in a climate friendly to tomato-growing, you will have large fruits. My plants were 4 feet tall in 10 gallon pots, but they could be taller in the northern areas of the US. Crimson Sockeye fruits were firm and juicy with a strong balanced flavor that lingered in my mouth. Note: One packet per order please.
