“Dwarf Lee,” also called “Lee,” is described variously as a semi-dwarf or a dwarf okra variety, with reports of height ranging from 2 feet tall to 5 feet tall. In my own trials, in a 15 gallon grow bag with abundant watering and weekly liquid feeds, the stalks reached 3 feet tall. Pods have been described as 7 to 8”; however, they are most tender picked in the 4 to 5” length. It is an early variety, producing just after my earliest variety, Evertender. Dwarf Lee is said to be a 1978 introduction by the University of Arkansas, but I could not verify this. I am pleased to be able to offer this fourth dwarf variety that many people who could grow it where limited space is available.
One packet per order please.
