“Garai Fehér Cseresznye” is a beautiful ivory cherry pepper, very hot, that turns bright cherry red when fully ripe. I have a difficult time keeping the stink bugs from them because at red ripe there is sweet with the heat, and stink bugs seem to love sweet, whether it be peppers or tomatoes. These are quite thick-walled and smaller than the common hot cherry bomb pepper types. I grew this hot cherry in a 3 gallon black nursery pot this year, and the plant reached 24″ tall and 18″ wide. It does grow larger when given more room for its roots, such as in a larger pot or in the ground. It fruited profusely even in the small pot despite much neglect and lack of watering in the mid-summer. My original seeds came from Hungary.
