“GG’s Glory” is a multiflora micro-dwarf tomato developed by Heide Schmaltz Dolan from Colorado. She named it in honor of her mother. I have read that this is the shortest tomato in the micro-dwarf category at 8” tall; however, it was closer to 12” tall for me, and definitely taller than Baby, Micro Tom, Evita, Delice, Micro Gemma, and Nina Neutron. Still…a multiflora variety that tops at 12” tall is a fine choice for growing in the home, provided that the grower takes care to pollinate all of those lovely blooms. The cherries were bright yellow, mostly grape-shaped with tiny sharp nipple tips, and very juicy with excellent sweet flavor. Mine were 0.25 to 0.35 oz, but other growers reported larger fruits at 0.5 to 0.88 oz. Amazingly, GG’s Glory is one of three micro-dwarfs (other than those I bred) that survived the summer and is still alive now in September. It did stop fruiting, but it will probably try to bloom and fruit again in October. Sadly, I typically do not get many fruits from multifloras. I have to grow many plants to get a harvest equal to a non-multiflora. I believe this has more to do with our night-noon humidity levels more than anything. Therefore, I do not have many seeds this season. NOTE: One packet per order please.
