“Marbled Mystery” is one of the most beautiful large cherry tomatoes I have ever grown. However, it appeared from a variety that should have been orange. In the past, I have seen this marbled color end up transitioning to solid red fruits within the next generation. This may be a bee cross and therefore unstable. Yet, Marbled Mystery produced literally all summer long (very rare in my climate) with bunches of large cherries to small cocktail fruits. I grew it as a hanging basket variety, but I believe it may be semi-determinate or indeterminate. Anyone who fights a hot and humid climate and wants to successfully grow SOME sort of tomato might want to give this one a try. As I have stated before, I really do not know if you will get the same size or colors from these seeds…it may transition to solid red…but why waste yummy food? Why not share the seeds? For this reason, I chose to include Marbled Mystery in this season’s “Special Gift Packets” to send with orders from Bunny Hop Seeds.
