“Pale Rider” is the excellent result of a cross made by my gardening forum friend, TimothyT in NC. The parents are Roumanian Rainbow x Jaloro. Many forum friends helped with the growout, and Jon in Alabama came up with the most fitting name of “Pale Rider.” The result is a medium to short height plant that covers itself with ivory jalapeno fruits that stay ivory a long time before blushing and finally turning red. The heat is estimated as medium. This is a beautiful hot pepper that resists (in my hot and humid garden trials) diseases better than NuMex Pumpkin Spice. Highly recommended!
