“Sandpoint” is a compact plant, only 2-3 feet high in a 5 gal pot, slightly taller in better climates/larger pots. I was expecting a tart tomato but this was not; the flesh was soft and thick walled, with sweetness and juice; the gel is ruby crimson red. I was very pleased with the plant’s performance and the eating pleasure of the fruits. This is a good variety to grow in a cool climate. It was developed by the University of Idaho.
