“Yummy Orange” is a fruity and sweet delicious little snacking pepper that I love. The smooth orange fruits have very few seeds, which is great for eating, but means that each packet with 15+ seeds (meaning there are 16-20 seeds in each packet) takes three to five fruits to stock. I seeded bowls of these sweet little gems and still had a small stock at the end of the season. But I had so many fruits that I was able to share the deseeded peppers with my neighbors. They really are one of the sweetest peppers I have ever eaten.
A note about the size of these fruits. The first peppers of the season were quite large, from 3 to even 5 inches long. As the season progressed, and they fruited and fruited and fruited, and I wasn’t able to keep fertilizing them every other week, the fruits became smaller and smaller, until the last fruits were 2 to 1 inch long on average.
