“Santiago Painted Okra” is a very pretty and compact-growing okra variety. I grew it in a 15 gallon grow bag and the stems reached 3 to 4 feet tall before bearing. The pods are green that may also be brushed with red or rose, and the stems are red with green leaves. It is a nicely productive okra with tender tasty pods. I believe this variety originally came from Santiago de Cuba; however, my seeds were a gift to me from a friend in the United States. US orders only, our okra seeds are not shipped outside of the US.
