“Ambrosia Apricot” is a selection I made and stabilized from Blue Ambrosia, a creation of J&L Gardens. It is a sister line to the white cherry Ambrosia Ice. Ambrosia Apricot has orange flesh (I think…it is a rather odd shade of orange…I am almost thinking maybe gold yellow with pink bicolor) with clear skin, and is 0.5 to 0.8 oz. Ambrosia Apricot is very sweet at dead ripe, but with a deeper tomato flavor than Ambrosia Ice. There was a very little anthocyanin dusting on the fruit tops early in the season before the heat set in. I really like this one…Wow! variety. It may not be 100% stable yet…these things have a way of surprising me when I least expect it. If you get a white cherry from these seeds, then that is Ambrosia Ice. NOTE: One packet per order please.
