“Dwarf Lemon Ice” was developed from a cross between Roza Vetrov and Anna Banana Russian made by Patrina Nuske Small (Nosey family). It was selected and named by Linda Black. I remember the flavor even without consulting my tasting notes. It was refreshing. Light, tangy, tomatoey flavor, without being too acid or insipid. Better tasting than many “white” varieties. If you live north of me (just about everyone) then you should get lovely pointy hearts from this variety. My hearts are never quite as elongated due to shorter day length in the south US versus north US or Canada. Even so, I did indeed get hearts from Dwarf Lemon Ice, and the plant fruited far earlier than I had expected. If you wish to grow dwarfs and expand your fruit color, shape, and flavor selection, this one is a keeper.
