“Kurume Long” is a beautiful deep purple, long eggplant from Japan. I do love these Japanese eggies with their tender, creamy white flesh. The plant is decorative as well, with deep purple calyx on the fruits and a rather compact growth habit, especially when grown in a pot. Fruit length has been described as anywhere from 4” to 10” long. Mine were right around 8” in length.
