“Moment” (Момент) appears to be a Russian commercial variety of micro-dwarf tomato. The listings of this variety on vendor websites all describe the plant height and fruit size accurately; however, the photos vary widely and do not resemble cherries. This micro-dwarf variety makes large strongly-flavored red cherries, not as sweet as my favorite Jochalos. The plants are generally 9 to 16” tall; and my fruits were large cherry sized, although apparently some growers have measured their fruits to be 2 to 2.8 ounces. Moment is no bigger than a…MOMENT. (I couldn’t resist that one!) and a fine variety to add to the micro-dwarf collection.
