“Siling Labuyo White” is a variation of the “wild chile” of the Philippines, Siling Labuyo. This white version is very similar to the original, except that the unripe fruits are a very pale greenish white rather than a dark green. It still reminds me very much of another frutescens, the Tabasco; however, while my Tabasco plant always becomes a beast by the end of the season, my Siling Labuyo White plant remained dainty. The fruits are smaller and daintier as well. But quite toasty! I did plant it in a rather neglected 3 gallon pot, so the plant may grow larger in more favorable conditions. And yet, Siling Labuyo White is a chile that I would want to grow in out of the way places, ready for me to pluck at will, as I would wild berries.
