“Tigerette” is a dwarf variety with striking chartreuse foliage. In fact, it is easy to forget that the foliage is SUPPOSED to be yellow-green, and avoid choking it to death on magnesium and iron trying to get grass-green leaves. In addition to the eye-catching foliage, the saladette sized tomatoes remind me of angry hornets, being red with yellow stripes and red flesh. Alas, the flesh is rather bland. Excellent flavor would have been such a bonus here. If you dehydrate your own tomatoes, the flavors will intensify nicely. Similar (maybe the same?) to Bonté Tigret, this variety seems to take a bit to set fruit, but then sets a ton of them, deeply in the plant as well as on the surface.
