    • “Pinky Blast” comes from who knows where, but it is a great compact variety to grow. Some have stated that it is indeterminate…I am not certain of that designation as my plants have always appeared and behaved as a determinate or semi-determinate. But it is definitely compact, less than 4 feet tall. The foliage is amazing. It is frilly, and a yellow-green color. The plant stands out in the garden.
    The fruits are sweet, rosy pink saladettes. Some may be a bit heart-shaped. These can be a little firm to some, but I didn’t feel that they were crunchy.
