Papaccella Napoletana Giallo

“Papaccella Napoletana Giallo” is squatty, very ribbed, and has those interesting shapes on the bottom of the fruits. This is a variety native to Campania, Italy. It has thick walls and is very sweet. https://www.fondazioneslowfood.com/…/presidi-slow-food/pap…/
Papaccella Napoletana comes in three colors, one of them being a golden yellow, or giallo. “La Papacella Napoletana si presenta di colore rosso vinato, giallo sole o verde brillante, piccola (diametro intorno ai 8-10 cm) dallaforma ovalizzata, è detta “riccia” perché costoluta.”
I was impressed by the ongoing size of the fruits (as large across as the palm of my hand), and the productivity of that size of fruits in a 3 gallon pot. I have seen the spelling of this variety as both “Pappaccella” and “Papaccella.”
