Butter n Eggs is stated to come from the Kentucky Amish, shared by Gary Millwood. There is no mention of it being a long-keeper, but it sure has that growth and appearance to me. The unripe color is a beautiful pale milky jade green, and it is golden orange at what appears to be full ripeness. The flesh is smooth, and the balance between sugar and acid is very good. Not especially sweet, but not sour…just a nice tomato flavor. The productivity was abundant for me this season, more than it has been previously. Some fruits were over 10 ounces, with most being 6-9 oz.
