“Tiny Totem” is a bit of a mystery. I grew it previously in a 1-gal pot, and again this season in a very large pot, and it performed very well in both. You can grow Tiny Totem in 1-gal pot as micro-dwarf (12-15”) or in large pot as balcony (15-24”). Appearance and flavor are very similar to Tiny Tim, being bright red and having a big tomato flavor with plenty of acid.
I can’t really find a history on this one that I trust. I find “Totem Tomato”, described as a dwarf, described as a micro-dwarf, described as an F1 hybrid, and described as open pollinated. I found only one listing for “Tiny Totem,” on a New Zealand vendor’s site. The name on my seed packet is “Tiny Totem,” but I cannot remember where I found the seeds, or who gave them to me. This isn’t an F1 hybrid, for certain.
NOTE: One packet per order please.
