“Ananas Blue” is a most beautiful bicolor tomato with anthocyanin (purple) shoulders created by Jose Antoine, from a cross of “Ananas” with “OSU Blue”. It is reportedly stable at this time. I am seeing two distinct types in vendor listings, however. One type is a small perfect salad shape, while the other is a more flattened, irregular beefsteak shape. I read that the selections during the stabilization growing were made choosing the more round, salad shaped fruits. This is what I have. My fruits were 3-4 ounces, and quite prolific. The flavor was very good, smoothly balanced with sweetness and acid.
